Data deletion
What automatic retention removes, what deleting a bot or workspace removes, and how to request account deletion or an export.
What “delete” means for each data class
- Conversation data. It is automatically purged after 90 days.
- Orders. The retention process anonymises orders by nulling the phone number, customer text, Meta message ID, and conversation ID.
- Audit events for revealed identities. They are deleted after 90 days.
- Bots and workspace content. Deleting a bot cascades to its flows and conversations. Deleting a workspace cascades to its bots, flows, and conversations.
Automatic 90-day conversation purge
The 90-day conversation purge runs automatically; no request is required. The same retention process anonymises order fields and removes audit events for revealed identities as described above.
Delete a bot or workspace
To delete a single bot, use its Delete action in Fluenta. The deletion cascade removes that bot's flows and conversations.
Workspace deletion is handled by email request. Send the account email address and workspace name to [email protected]; deleting a workspace cascades to its bots, flows, and conversations. We confirm when the request is complete.
Disconnect a WhatsApp number
Remove the WhatsApp credentials in the bot settings to disconnect the number from Fluenta. Separately, revoke the access token in the customer's own Meta app.
Data in your Meta account
Deleting a Fluenta workspace does not delete anything held in the customer's own Meta account. Fluenta connects to the customer's own WABA and phone number; the customer manages that Meta account separately.
Data export
Self-service data export is not available yet. To request a copy, email [email protected] with the account email address and workspace name.
